Product Returns & Warranty Claims:

For all product return, warranty claims or order issue enquiries, please read through the below policies before completing the request form below.


SHIPPING

Whilst we support local Australian retailers, all The Vandal Australia online orders are fulfilled and dispatched directly from our Australian distribution centre.

Shipping Costs

  • Flat rate shipping: $15 for orders under $100
  • Free shipping: Orders over $100
  • Shipping fees are calculated automatically at checkout

Dispatch Timeframes

  • Orders for in-stock items are generally dispatched within 1–3 business days
  • During peak periods (e.g. major sales or Christmas), dispatch and delivery times may be extended by 1–2 business days

Delivery Estimates

  • Metro areas: approximately 1–3 business days
  • Regional & remote areas: approximately 5–7 business days, depending on location

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary due to courier delays or external factors beyond our control.


RETURNS

We want you to be confident with your purchase. If you need to return an item, the following conditions apply.

Change of Mind Returns

  • You may return eligible items within 30 days of delivery
  • Items must be unused, in original condition, and with original packaging, tags, and accessories intact
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
  • Items that do not meet these conditions may be returned to you

Exclusions

The following items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns:

  • Made-to-order or customised products (if applicable)
  • Clearance or final sale items (where clearly marked)

To submit a return request, please follow the process below:
1. Scroll to the bottom of this page and complete the Return Request form, ensuring all required information is accurate. This helps us process your request as quickly as possible.
2. Once submitted, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your return request ticket number. Please keep this for reference if you need to follow up.
3. A member of our team will review your request and contact you with the next steps.
Important: Please do not send any items back without first submitting a return request, as this may result in delays or the item being returned to you.
4. If you received an incorrect item or your item is faulty, we will provide a prepaid return label to cover the cost of shipping.
5. If the returned product does not meet our returns policy, we will notify you with further details.

Return Instructions:

• Pack your item securely, using the original packaging where possible, to minimise the risk of damage in transit
• Clearly include your return ticket number with the parcel
• Attach the prepaid return label securely to the package (if one has been provided by BikeChain)
• Once your return has been received, you’ll be notified by email with confirmation and the next steps

WARRANTY

All products supplied by The Vandal Australia are covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty.

Warranty Claims

  • Submit a request via the Returns / Warranty form
  • Provide clear images and a description of the issue
  • Our team will assess the claim and advise next steps

Some products may require inspection by the manufacturer, which can result in longer assessment timeframes.

Warranty Outcomes

  • Within 30 days: replacement or refund may be offered
  • After 30 days: repair or replacement may be offered under warranty
  • If a product is assessed and found not to be faulty, it may be returned to you at your cost

REFUNDS

  • Approved refunds are processed within 3 business days
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Banks and payment providers may take up to 5 additional business days to finalise the transaction
  • Discounted items are refunded at the price paid, not the original RRP

AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund for products with a major failure, or products that are not of acceptable quality, not fit for purpose, or not as described.


APPLICABLE LAW

This policy is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
